Whatever
your age,
you can enjoy speed skating for recreation, fitness, or competition.

Although it is optional, MSSC strongly
encourages skaters
to wear eye protection, shin guards and cut-proof shin protectors
to prevent injuries.
Both safety glasses and cut-proof shin protectors are available
for sale from the club at a nominal fee during practice times.
