We've had tremendous community support for our bid to host the
2010 U.S. Olympic Trials - Short Track Speedskating.
We have enthusiastic volunteers.
We have a great facility in the Midland Civic Arena.
We've had signs of support throughout Midland.
And, we've have incredible pledges of support.

MSSC submitted a professionally designed bid package to U.S. Speedskating. This included a specially-prepared professional video by Dave Rondot, of Dave Rondot Productions.

(Note: MSSC acknowledged a significant pledge made by The Dow Chemical Company in the video, but we would also like to acknowledge a significant pledge received from the Dow Corning Corporation after the video was completed. MSSC thanks everyone who supported our Olympic Trials bid, which allowed us to show U.S. Speedskating how truly wonderful the Mid-Michigan community is! )
