Volunteers from across the state worked hard to make this year's 2006 Michigan State Short Track Meet a meet a resounding success. The skating was great, both in Bay City - and in Italy! Skaters & volunteers took an afternoon break to gather in front of the TVs to watch Bay City native Alex Izykowski, Apolo Anton Ohno, Rusty Smith, and J.P. Kepka win a bronze medal in the Olympic men's relay.
